Be still our makeup-obsessed hearts, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has unveiled its latest Studio. It opened its doors in Edinburgh on 16th August, and we dropped by to see what the renowned makeup brand had in store for beauty fans.
Situated on the capital’s fashionable George Street, The Studio joins St Andrews as the only stand-alone stores in Scotland. The launch night was packed full of makeup lovers learning Bobbi’s famed tips and tricks from the brand’s advanced artists (not to mention some dreamy barmen from Haig Whisky dishing out cocktails!).
We were welcomed to the makeup chair for a complementary Makeup Lesson, which will be one of the key services offered to all at the new store. Along the way, our advanced artist introduced some of the brand’s standout products like the hydrating eye cream, concealer and corrector, and long-wear gel liner, and showed us how to apply them expertly to achieve the Bobbi Brown look.
As well as one-on-one lessons, which can be tailored to your individual routine (whether you spend five or 45 minutes on application), there will also be regular Mini Masterclasses from special guest artists.
The brand is currently celebrating its 25th birthday this year, and it’s come a long way since launching a collection of 10 lipstick shades in 1991. Hopefully the future holds more Scottish expansion – Glasgow next please!
