Most wedding shows are the planning equivalent of a world buffet: you’re spoiled for choice and it can be overwhelming. If you have a more refined palette, head to Ginger & Lime Events’ exclusive Bridal Fashion + Flowers Styling event at the Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday 3rd May. Here you’ll find a carefully curated selection of suppliers, as well as live styling from select industry professionals, including Anne Priscilla Bridal.
“We wanted to offer a fun and relaxed alternative wedding planning event,” says co-owner Cora Craig. “As well as speaking to high quality wedding suppliers, brides and grooms can also gain a valuable insight into styling the perfect wedding look for your special day.”
Partner Sophie Judah agrees, joking “there will be no stalls or stands where you’ll have fliers waved in your face!” Instead, the chic Blythswood Square function space will be dressed by Ginger & Lime’s designers and florists for a laid-back, inspirational gathering.
After a drinks reception, with yummy cocktails from Rock Rose Gin and Holy Grass Vodka, there will be a catwalk show with highlights from the 2016 collections at Anne Priscilla Bridal, followed by advice from Scotland’s wedding experts on styling your wedding look, pairing your bridal bouquet with your gown, as well as how to get the most from your hair and makeup stylist.
Be sure to bring a notepad, but be prepared to let your hair down. “Come with an open mind, and be prepared to pick up lots of new ideas, but most of all, come to enjoy the evening and have fun with your wedding planning!” says Sophie.
