Our July-August issue is out now!

The latest issue of Tie the Knot Scotland magazines hits shelves on 1st July! Fancy a peek at what’s inside?

FEAT IMGWhen Scottish summers are famed for their ever-changing weather, being prepared for anything is essential. We might not come with a brolly, but the July-August issue of Tie the Knot Scotland magazine is just as indispensable for being ready for your big day.

This issue we’re checking out at Scotland’s hottest bespoke designers, breaking down the components of a complete groomswear look and having an in-depth look at ceremonies. We’ve chatted to the country’s coolest young wedding creatives in our ‘Young Team’ feature, and we have some magical advice for picking a wedding magician.

We were lucky enough to visit two brand-spanking-new luxury venues for our photoshoots this issue. First up was vintage starlet glamour at Manorview Hotel & Leisure Group’s latest launch, Boclair House, followed by blow-the-budget gowns at recently refurbished Crossbasket Castle.

We’ve also broached the delicate issue of how to negotiate with your suppliers. We’ll not give too much away but there’s a whole host of wedding essentials that you can charm your way out of paying top dollar for!

Feeling spurred on by the deluge of football on our screens at the minute, we’re helping mums to tackle plus-size dressing and score an amazing outfit without clashing with the other side (that means you mothers of the groom!).

As always, our real-life wedding section is bursting with seriously stunning Scottish celebrations. From a jaw-dropping ceremony at Dunblane Cathedral shot by Parris Photography (with flowers you’ll have to see to believe from Jordana Event Design & Florist) to Sandeep and Paul’s red and gold celebration, expertly captured by White Tree Photography – no mean feet when the dancefloor was packed from the start!

Our venues section is crammed with over 100 of Scotland’s top places to get married, whether you see yourself roaming the grounds of a castle or sipping a cocktail in a newly renovated city centre hotel.

We’d all love to have our own fairy wed-mother but we’re confident our latest issue is the next best thing!

Tie the Knot Scotland is available from 1st July from selected Scottish retailers. Why not take out a year’s subscription for just £18?
