Frankie the Fizz Wagon is a converted three-wheeler Piaggio Ape that comes with two expert servers who’ll portion up a keg of the fizzy stuff. Priced from £550 for three hours, they’ll bring plenty of flutes and provide a ‘pimp your prosecco’ table equipped with tasty mixers and fruit to sweeten the deal. There’s the option of adding a keg of Peroni lager for £285 too if you fancy.
Although, we shouldn’t strictly call it prosecco, should we? Under Italian law, from 2009 the fizzy stuff can’t be called prosecco unless it comes in a bottle, so you’ll be treated to Glera Frizzante, a sparkling white wine made using the glera grape which is positively delicious.
If you’ve already secured your drinks package at your venue, Frankie will happily swing by later for a family gathering. Lorna Calder of The Dapper Drinks Company suggests, “We’re perfect for a post-wedding BBQ while all the family are catching up after the main event.”
You’d better get in quick to secure your date, though. Bookings and reservations are already in the diary for up to 2019. “We’re also preparing for Christmas dos and will be adding mulled wine to our product offering which is pretty exciting,” adds Lorna.
