Is the sight of your wedding spreadsheet enough to make you break out in sweats? We’ve got the new name you need to know. House of Veils is aiming to bring some common sense back to spending, with its accessory-rental service founded by best friends Heather Craig and Sophia Armstrong.

“We are the first company to offer bridal veils and hairpieces for hire in Scotland, and so far our business has proved very successful,” says Heather. “We like to feel that we provide a ‘go the extra mile’ service, as almost anything is never too much when it comes to accommodating our brides.

“Plus, not only do we offer our products to hire, but should you wish to buy, they are also available to purchase at very reasonable prices,” she adds.

Keep your bridal look fresh with a scene-stealing veil and romantic loose waves

Sophia is based in Kelty and Heather in Irvine, so the duo are well-placed to help brides across central Scotland find the veil, vine or comb that their hearts desire – having said that, however, they’ve already had online orders from as far afield as Australia. Impressive.

Prices start from £40 for veil hire and £50 for hairpieces. For more information or to book an appointment, visit House of Veils’ website or take a look at its Instagram and Facebook
