It’s not often a bonafide bridal revolution comes along but we’re genuinely excited and intrigued to welcome The Wedding Pop’s concept onto the scene.
The company is planning on organising ‘pop-up’ wedding weekends, whereby couples (and 30 of their loved ones) with more modest budgets can have a two-hour time slot with some of the most talented suppliers out there, at a super-cool, blank-canvas venue, from around £3,300.

The room will be fully styled with a pre-arranged theme, you’ll have a florist (such as the supremely talented Lavender & Rose, above) at your disposal, you’ll receive 50 images from a top photographer, a live musician will underscore your ceremony and there’ll be drinks and canapés too. As well as that, you’ll have a concierge service who’ll assist with the rest of the day, from private dining to party options and a host of add-ons.
“The Wedding Pop is for the 21st century couple, those who want a stylish big day and appreciate the quality of the top suppliers in the industry, but don’t have a huge budget to spend,” explains founder Maria Ure. “We ask you to think about your nuptials differently and essentially share the cost with other couples. However, you will have a completely private wedding, with the space being exclusively yours for the duration of your ceremony and reception.

“This is not for couples who want the traditional wedding – there are many other places in the industry they can go,” she continues. “It’s a chic alternative to something like the registry office and makes the luxury end of the market accessible for people with less to spend. Our suppliers are the leaders in their field, and, together with our planning team, will take the stress out of your day completely.”
