For the third year running, Eleganza Sposa has sponsored the Glasgow Caledonian University Fashion Business (BA Hons) fourth-year project.
The luxury Glasgow bridal designer and retailer set the students the task of designing beautiful occasionwear dresses for its Eleganza Collezioni special-occasion range.
A bridesmaid’s gown, designed by student Gillian MacDonald, was selected as the winner. Her prize: a six-month design internship with the brand, and £500 towards the production of her gown.
Gillian, who graduates in June, says: “It has been such an exciting experience working with Anna and the team at Eleganza, from both the design stage to my current internship opportunity. I was so happy to be chosen as the winning dress design; it was a complete shock at first but something that has been really self-affirming after going through the stress of Honours year at university!”
