Eleganza Sposa’s new plus size range celebrates your killer curves

Style 2186 by Essense of Australia

Although certain corners of the fashion industry have some catching up to do, we’re encouraged to see bridal boutiques forging ahead with realistic, inclusive collections for women of all shapes and sizes.

“We’re beyond excited to announce that during the months of May and June, we plan on introducing plus-size designs,” announces Anna Cirignaco, owner of Glasgow’s Eleganza Sposa. “We’ve always taken pride in bringing exquisite gowns from well-established, exclusive brands to all our brides and we are delighted to welcome the Everybody/Everybride range by Essense of Australia into the store, providing a wider selection of sample gowns sized 24 to 28, in a variety of silhouettes.”

It’s something the Australian bridal house, which also encompasses Martina Liana and Stella York, feels very passionate about.

“Every bride, regardless of her body shape or size, should experience the joy of finding the designer wedding dress of her dreams,” asserts the brand. “Our collection has trend-setting styles including glamorous beaded gowns, sexy backs with illusion lace, relaxed boho silhouettes, picture-perfect ballgowns, and vintage-inspired fit-and-flare styles.

“We are proud to have one of the largest selections of plus size samples. Where other designers may have only a small collection in your size, we have over 20 in sizes 18 – 34/36.”

We’ve got our eye on the trailblazing brand’s style 2186 (above, £POA) and its subtle, flattering V-neck, delicate lace sleeves and decadently diamanté-encrusted grosgrain belt.
