For some of us, it’s impossible to imagine getting hitched without one. For others, it’s not top of the priority list. Whichever camp you’re in, alterations specialists Elizabeth Wallace has a veil to sway you.
“Our accessories website is now live, showcasing our collection of 15 veils,” says the Ayrshire company’s Nicola McCormick. “I am so thrilled! This is just the beginning – we’ve already began work on our next range, due later on in the year. We have a veil for everyone, so no matter what their style is, they will find something for them.
“The collection features very traditional, Victorian-inspired ideas, as well as more modern and unusual options. Our mission was to produce pieces that were definitely not run-of-the-mill, so we incorporated different trims, laces and appliqué to put a contemporary twist on the typical veil.
“We even have a design with embroidered initials in the making! The team are seeing to the final adjustments as we speak.”
Aside from the veils, accessories, of course, are more of a head-to-toe affair, and Elizabeth Wallace will also have earrings, necklaces, bracelets and headpieces for you to coo over, plus personalised candles. It’s a one-stop-shop.
