If the idea of having your ceremony in a Celtic roundhouse or under a forest canopy appeals to you, you can do that here. When guests are ready to call it a night, they can head to one of the many glamping yurts.

The venue says: “A million miles from anywhere as you see far off into the horizon or gaze at the starry sky as night falls, woodland sounds are all you will hear. Unless you are here to party, and if you are no-one will know of your presence in your far-off forest wonderland, free to enjoy nature and the simpler ways of life…just be part of the woodland and respect its splendour. This is what grabs you when you enter the world of Marthrown of Mabie. It has a magical presence that offers lazy relaxation, fun or adventure.”

Belladrum Temple and Estate, Beauly

This romantic temple at Belladrum Estate would be the perfect place to say ‘I do’ during a fun-filled festi-themed bash

Set on a secluded knoll on the Highland estate that hosts the Bellarum Tartan Heart Festival, this romantic temple is the perfect backdrop for couples looking for something different for an intimate ceremony.

From the venue: “Here at Belladrum, we believe that no two couples are the same…so why should any two weddings be the same? We pride ourselves on offering a unique and bespoke wedding venue and service. ‘Packages’ aren’t really our thing. We prefer to work on a one on one basis, tailoring our offerings to each individual budget, big or small and everything in-between.”

Kelburn Estate, Largs

The iconic Kelburn Castle would look SO cool as your wedding backdrop!

This place has everything from a secret forest to a castle to enchant guests, as well as a pavilion which leads onto a private patio and lawn where couples can throw a barbecue or hog roast. It also offers cosy hillside yurts and a campsite, so is certainly able to help you host every element of the festival wedding of your dreams.

From the venue: “Regarded as one of Scotland’s most beautiful natural woodlands and glen, Kelburn offers you the perfect setting for that memorable day.

The Castle has a blend of styles and periods, from the elegant 1700 Drawing Room to the Victorian Dining Room with it’s original William Morris wallpaper.  Kelburn Castle is simply the perfect backdrop to make your event a memorable one.

Alternatively, we have our Pavilion.  A ‘blank canvas’ with open spaces, which can be decorated to suit your style and vision. Enjoying views of the Firth of Clyde and the islands of Bute, Arran and Cumbrae. With large sliding glass doors which open out on to a private patio and lawn, offering the opportunity to catering such as BBQ’s and Hog Roasts.”

Cambo’s fairy lights are a dream – just imagine how magical this would be?

Hidden in the woods on the stunning Fife coast, this unique family home was built for a party. It also has its very own woodland festival space, where newlyweds and their guests can enjoy a sparkling fairy light tunnel, a fire pit and a dance floor area with a covered bandstand.

Cambo Estate says: “The Erskine family has been welcoming guests to Cambo Country House & Estate for the last 300 years. The house is surrounded by grassy parkland and is protected on all sides by ancient woodlands, which run down to one of the most celebrated beaches in Scotland. We work with the best local talent and suppliers to make sure your wedding is one that you and your guests will be talking about for years to come.”
