To (kind of) quote Green Day, wake us up when September begins, because the first of the month sees the Blushing Brides Wedding Show take over the Trades Hall in Glasgow, and we’re already counting down the days.
On that Sunday, between 12pm and 4pm, you’ll have your pick of over 40 of the best w-day suppliers in the west, so whether you need a cake or a canapé, you’ll be able to find it all here. There’s also a live band showcase scheduled for the afternoon, with three of Scotland’s top outfits performing, so you can rest assured that you’ll be thoroughly entertained in the process.
Plus, it certainly doesn’t hurt that Trades Hall is a seriously charming locale. Home to The Trades House of Glasgow, the venue is the second oldest building in the city still used for its original purpose (the cathedral is number one, FYI).
Feeling philanthropic? Because of its charitable status, all of the money generated from weddings and events at Trades Hall goes back into worthy causes in the local community.
The day is being hosted by LBS Event Design & Wedding Planning, an award-winning event decorating service who operate out of Glasgow city centre. With chair covers, centrepieces, a light-up dancefloor and more at its disposal, LBS can work with couples to help realise the day they’ve been fantasising about in their heads.
