With a fresh look and name, Glasgow wedding caterer Brine & Dandy has launched three affordable packages that can be grazed on, shared or plated – and include more than just scrummy food

Glasgow’s Busy Bee Catering has been, well, a busy bee over lockdown, rebranding to Brine & Dandy. “It’s really given us to time to distill our values and mission – creating unforgettable food memories within budget,” says the company’s Lucy Fleming. “We believe every event, no matter the size, should be as beautiful and memorable as it can be.”

Their three packages – Just Brine, Pink Bow Tie and Do It Like Dandy – include table linens, crockery, cutlery and glassware hire and serving staff. Our mouths are watering at the sound of the maple-glazed roast butternut squash stuffed with wild garlic ragu, or the rolled pork loin, creamy mash and seasonal vegetables with red onion jus, both options in the tempting entry-level Just Brine package, which is £35 per head.

The Brine & Dandy team pride themselves on tailoring each experience to the client, with flexibility at the heart of their approach. When selecting your package, you can also choose between one of three serving styles: relaxed – grazing tables, buffet or BBQ style; foodie – table service with sharing plates; or traditional – a three-course, sit-down meal with table service. You’re totally spoiled for choice.
