After taking its kilt-fitting services across the pond to New York and Toronto, groomswear powerhouse MacGregor and MacDuff has an exciting venture closer to home: its new Edinburgh store has now opened.

East-coast gents will be able to peruse myriad looks whether hiring or buying. “At MacGregor and MacDuff we offer 14 hire tartans, five of which are our very own exclusive Mist tartans that you won’t find anywhere else. We also offer an upgraded kilt hire package where you can choose from any of our 4,000 tartans and the kilt you hire will be made specifically for you,” the company’s Sarah McKay tells us.

“The store is conveniently located five minutes’ from the airport, making it accessible for both residents and those who are travelling to and from the city to buy a new outfit or hire a kilt,” she adds.

The store can accommodate everything from group wedding appointments to last-minute hires, and is now taking bookings from 5th December.

MacGregor and MacDuff offer a virtual fitting service to ensure men across the globe can look dapper in their highland wear. For UK gents, the store is also regularly in Manchester and London, so getting fitted has never been easier or more convenient.
