Luxury Borders wedding venue SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel in Kelso has as an exciting announcement: it is preparing to open a swanky new state-of-the-art events space. The Teviot Suite has room to host 120 guests and boasts spectacular views across the championship golf course. Due to open in November 2022, we predict it’ll be a hit with couples.
For those looking to turn their nuptials into a multi-day affair, SCHLOSS Roxburghe offers plenty of extra activities to keep you and your guests entertained: as well as the golf course, there’s the chance to try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing and hunting. If you’re the indoor type, then a visit to the 18th century Floors Castle, home to the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe and open to the public from April to October, may be more your bag.
The hotel has also announced a number of further developments to the property, with plans for an extension with an additional 58 bedrooms and suites, new restaurant, extensive spa facilities (including heated outdoor pool) and purpose-built banqueting suite. Construction has begun on these upgrades and should be completed some time in 2022.
