Host the biggest bash of your life with the Old Course Hotel

We’ve all been stuck inside for a year, so who could blame you for wanting to push the boat out a little with your big day. Get everyone involved with the revamped ballroom at this St Andrews stalwart…

There’s space for the loved ones of your loved ones in the Old Course Hotel’s revamped ballroom. We’re giving everyone a plus one, pronto!

If, like us, you’re never letting your nearest and dearest out of your sight once restrictions ease, listen up – we’ve got just the thing. For couples who believe that more really is merrier, the Old Course Hotel has shared news of the expansion of its largest events space, The Hall of Champions, which can now house a whopping 450 guests. Ideal for both sides of the family to bond over that Strip the Willow you’ve been planning…

If you’d prefer something a little more, er, intimate, the Conservatory has also been extended to allow capacity for up to 190. This refurb also includes new windows and glass doors at both ends, with steps to the surrounding grounds to ensure ease of access for drinks receptions – convenient when you’ve been on the prosecco since the break of dawn.

The Conservatory at the Old Course Hotel is the perf spot to exchange vows. We’re living for its glam decor with floral notes…

After all that socialising, however, you’ll want to steal away just the two of you to the new romantic penthouse. Featuring a private lift, balcony, outdoor seating, fire pit, fireplace and free-standing bath, all complemented by spectacular views across the West Sands, we can’t think of a better place to spend your first night as a married couple. We have just one question: is it BYOM (Bring Your Own Marshmallows)?

Exhausted by the thought of all these recent changes? A visit to the Kohler Waters Spa and its thermal suite with hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna and plunge pool will sort you right out. In the meantime, we’re hopping on the Fife Coastal Trail to St Andrews. Catch you soon, Old Course!
