Since its major re-brand, Isobel Florence Bridal has become a destination for incredible labels such as Ian Stuart Bride and, most recently, Randy Fenoli. Now, it’s opened a sister store, packed with bridal bargains.

“Isobel Florence Off the Peg, Dumfries is a one-stop-shop for all your bridal needs,” explain owners Julie and King Wong, who themselves celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary this year. “We have over 100 gowns in stock in various sizes, ranging from a petite 4 to a curvaceous 30, that you can buy and take away the same day. These are ex-samples from our main salon in Dalbeattie, in fantastic condition, yet at a fraction of their original cost.

“When we got married, our budget was tight and we really struggled. We know how difficult it can be. We hope this will help brides in a similar situation find something they can fall in love with.”

And it’s not just bridal gowns on offer. “You can get accessories, veils, shoes and jewellery for your big day here too,” they highlight. “We also have one-off bridesmaid samples available, and have started to carry prom ranges from Manon, Rachel Allan and Tiffanys.”

We’re not done. “The best thing about this new shop is that we share it with venue decor specialists The Wedding Room/Light Up Your Venue, who’ve created a stunning showroom downstairs,” say Julie and King. “It really gives you a sense of what they can achieve with their expertise.”

Back at Isobel Florence Bridal, it’s still all systems go. “In mid-July, Randy Fenoli’s Silver Springs collection will be landing at the boutique,” they reveal. “As we are the first to get our hands on them in Scotland, we hope to host a designer weekend to welcome the arrival of this much sought-after designer. We would advise anyone who is interested to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date.

“We also have started to stock a mother of the bride/groom range from Emma Bridals and Mascara as well.”

Phew – looks like Isobel Florence is the place to be for the next month or so!
