It’s been all go at occasionwear boutique Mia Bella, which has purchased fresh looks for 2023

The Glasgow mother of the bride and mother of the groom specialist store recently visited Barcelona to pick new styles for the upcoming season

Despite being on a high from winning Best Mother of the Bride Retailer at both the Scottish Wedding Awards and the Confetti Awards, Mia Bella has been busier than ever: the team have recently returned from Barcelona where they purchased fresh new S/S ’23 looks, and still have plenty of A/W ’22 pieces we’re sure stylish mothers will adore.

“We’re loving this understated navy and blush Couture Club (above left, £POA) frock,” owner Christina Sigerson tells us. “The dusky rose hue is perfect for complementing pretty pink bridesmaids dresses.”

The skirt shape is just the ticket for mums looking for something a little different from the classic A-line, while the belt detail round the waist will create a cinched-in silhouette.

They have been noticing many trends which mamas should keep an eye out for next season: striking petrol blue and pistachio green hues are coming, and florals and feathers will still be front and centre.

Mia Bella is also offering numerous services to make finding the outfit of your dreams a breeze: appointment-only consultations mean more one-to-one time with staff and their ‘find your headwear’ consultations can give you a hand picking what hat is right for you. Bonus: there are also hatinators available to hire at the store if buying isn’t your bag.
