Jeweller Dower & Hall rings in the royal wedding

It’s so close we can almost see Meghan’s foot stepping out of that car (the anticipation is real), so it’s probably about time you got your plans in place for the royal wedding. Will you be crowding round the telly with your best gals, glasses of prosecco in hand? Or watching it on your tablet, Pinterest in one window, Windsor Castle’s live feed in the other? How about something more proactive (yes, that means getting up off the sofa)?

Jewellery boutique Dower & Hall in Princes Square, Glasgow, is hosting an event across the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May to celebrate Meghan and Harry’s nuptials and help you put together your own big day in the process. Between 9am to 6pm (Saturday) and 11am to 5pm (Sunday), head along to the store to meet fellow exhibitors Flossy & Dossy, Tilly Makes Cake, Modiste, Ten30, Arabesque and Doris Loves, all poised to style you and your other half to within an inch of your life (and, most crucially, feed you up with cake).

Sip on cocktails mixed by Rock Rose Gin and keep cool with boozy gourmet ice pops, served by Poptails by LAPP, while you meet the suppliers, browse the sparkling collections and catch up with Dower & Hall designer Dan Dower, who’ll be available to answer any bespoke queries, book consultations and dish out plenty of w-day jewellery advice.

You may not be devouring a slice of that sweet elderflower and lemon bake or getting down to Ed Sheeran at the future duke and duchess’ reception, but Dower & Hall does have a goody bag up for grabs, including Doris Loves temporary tattoos, label.m‘s new Diamond Dust leave-in conditioner and a copy of yours truly’s May/June edition. Who needs the etiquette minefield anyway?
