Kudos Bridal Boutiques on its Wendy Makin designer day and new styles

Venine gown, £POA, Wendy Makin, available at Kudos Bridal Boutiques

Kudos Bridal Boutiques’ love affair with Australian designer Wendy Makin continues – and can you blame them, when the gowns are so gorgeous? This time, it’s the Dunfermline store’s turn to worship.

“We’re hosting a Wendy Makin designer day on 10th August,” reveals assistant manager Megan Carberry. “We’ll have the entire collection here for one day only and we’re getting hyped up.

“The event is by appointment only, so we’d recommend you book in advance. The best part is, should you find a Wendy Makin gown that you love, we’ll be offering a 10% discount off your order on the day!” We’re saving hard for the dainty Venine, above.

It’s not just Wendy Makin that’s keeping the boutique busy. “It’s also that time of year again, where we’re eagerly awaiting our new arrivals,” Megan says. “We have some stunning gowns from Essense of Australia, Blue by Enzoani and True Bride that we cannot wait to welcome in store very soon!”

You know we can’t resist a sneak peek (we’re an impatient lot when it comes to fresh fashion), so when Kudos kindly shared a few future styles with us, we could barely contain ourselves. Essense of Australia’s new season especially is bursting with winners, like D2761 (above, £POA). How classy is the sweeping skirt and plunging Bardot neckline?

And if you’re after a more laid-back, flirty number for the big day, set your sights on the store’s latest crop of True Bride dresses. Sassy new arrivals include Albany and Frieda below (both £POA), with irresistibly swishable shorter hemlines and pretty illusion lace accents.
