Laings’ latest makeover blew us away when we went to check it out. The fact that we walked down a blue carpet (the jeweller’s signature shade) and through a scattering of fiery leaves was magical enough, but the Glasgow store itself, housed in the city’s iconic Argyll Arcade, was even more beguiling.
The expanded space now includes dedicated watch areas headed up by Patek Philippe and Rolex. The two zones are decorated in brand colours, creating a fully immersive experience where you can relax and enjoy the sumptuous surroundings, encircled by exquisite watches.
There’s also a private nook carved out especially for bespoke jewellery design and valuations. Reserved for appointments only, it affords clients comfort and privacy while discussing their dream gem creations.
