Moodboard: mystical mermaids

Everything’s gone a bit mystical recently. From food and drink being ‘unicorned’  – Glasgow restaurant Sloans even gave mac n’ cheese a magical makeover – to t-shirts letting everyone know that you’d rather be a mermaid, we’re in the throes of fantasy mania.

Weirdly, the iridescent and pastel palette that channels mermaids is actually quite well suited to wedding styling. Not to mention one of the most popular bridal silhouettes being named after the aquatic beauties. You might have to ditch that crab starter if you’re feeling inspired by Ariel and pals though…
