We wanna be in Amy King Bridal and Beauty’s gang! The Kirkcaldy store already has some killer designers in its inner circle, but what’s a few more between friends? Welcome, Rebecca Ingram (whose sparkling 2020 style Lucille you might have spotted on our November/December cover!).
“Selecting the line was an easy choice,” admits Amy. “Its high-quality, figure-flattering gowns feature feminine lace and flirty embellishments and are at a fantastic price point – having an affordable dress should never mean compromising on quality. There is such a wide variety of styles too, for every type of bride and venue.” How sexy is Destiny (below, £POA)? The sweetheart neckline, spaghetti straps and pooling train speak to our soul.
If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, then the boutique’s expansion of best-selling line Dando London surely will (“My brides are loving traditional shapes with a contemporary twist, which is why Dando does so well,” considers Amy). Picks from its Passion range include plenty of pieces sporting its signature plunging neckline, but it’s Orion’s theatrical, lace-edged cape, above, £POA, that has us completely starstruck. It’s the ideal alternative to a veil if that’s not your thing, and adds another level of grace to the gown’s curvaceous silhouette and statement bodice.
