They’re often an afterthought, but it’s the sparkling finishing touches that can actually make your bridal look. Elizabeth Wallace should know – its new range is going down a storm.

“We’re holding a bridal accessories open day on Saturday 17th August, which is going to be by appointment only,” says the alterations and accessory specialists’ Nicola McCormick. “Brides can bring along their gown, which they can put on and try out with our veil and new jewellery collections.

“They’ll have a full hour in the fitting room with our stylists and can enjoy a glass of prosecco and some chocolate-covered strawberries. Many discounts and offers will also be available on the day so it is definitely not something you want to miss out on!”

The alternations specialists launched their dedicated accessories label back in the spring and the top-notch selection of jewellery, headpieces and veils that’s built up ever since is full of, ahem, real gems for you to look out for when you’re in store.
