They’re often an afterthought, but it’s the sparkling finishing touches that can actually make your bridal look. Elizabeth Wallace should know – its new range is going down a storm.

“We’re holding a bridal accessories open day on Saturday 17th August, which is going to be by appointment only,” says the alterations and accessory specialists’ Nicola McCormick. “Brides can bring along their gown, which they can put on and try out with our veil and new jewellery collections.

“They’ll have a full hour in the fitting room with our stylists and can enjoy a glass of prosecco and some chocolate-covered strawberries. Many discounts and offers will also be available on the day so it is definitely not something you want to miss out on!”

There’s dazzling crystal statement earrings, 2020’s favourite trend, decadent yet directional hair vines (see below for pointers on how to style them now – resist the urge to drape across the brow and snake around your the side of your head instead), and pretty little bracelets to match up with your gown.
