Scotland’s largest wedding showcase will be returning to Glasgow on 22nd and 23rd Feb, offering brides and grooms-to-be everything they need to plan their dream day under one roof
Is January ever going to end? We’ll be glad to see the back of it, and not just because we’ve been eating Supernoodles for two weeks. Nope, we’re looking forward to our fave February fixture: The Scottish Wedding Show.
This instalment of the bi-annual event will welcome over 200 of the country’s top wedding suppliers – from florists and event planners, to Scotland’s leading wedding venues and jewellers – to give on-site, expert advice to those planning for their big day. Oh, and Team TTKS will be there handing out free copies of our January-February issue.
As part of the two-day event, couples can scope out the latest wedding fashion trends strutting down the catwalk at thrice-daily Fashion Shows, featuring gorgeous bridal gowns, menswear, mother-of-the-bride outfits, and even flower girl and pageboy ensembles. The Live Band Showcase will also be returning to help brides and grooms find the wedding band or singer that will ensure the dancefloor is packed.
For those looking for an alternative celebration, make tracks to the Field of Dreams area to browse an array of quirkier wedding features. Presenting everything from show-favourites, the Caledonia Alpacas and The Little Margarita Truck to fairytale outdoor lighting and prosecco vans, the Field of Dreams is a must-visit.
The Manorview Group cocktail bar will be in full swing over both days, offering the perfect pit stop in between wedding planning with a range of refreshing drinks and delicious cocktails (don’t forget to pick up a free copy of Tie the Knot Scotland here!). Visitors can also fuel up for more Scottish Wedding Show fun at the popular Eat, Drink & Be Married restaurant, serving up a selection of tasty small plates.
