Shieldhill Castle Chapel

Picturesque wedding ceremonies can take place in the Castle’s 16th-century Chapel. A staple of Scottish tradition and family heritage, this former coach house is a quaint space which allows you to exchange vows in front of 100 seated guests.

Whether you’re religious or not, the Chapel is striking, and adds an extra sense of enchantment to your big day. After your ceremony, you and your guests can mingle in the dining room and enjoy delicious food and drink.

The Alexander Room

More formal dinners can take place in the Alexander Room, which offers stunning views of the Castle grounds and Tinto hill. It’s the perfect space for your guests to relax, mix and admire the gorgeous surroundings in an intimate setting.

Larger wedding parties can celebrate in the marquee

For weddings catering for more than 30 guests, the wedding breakfast and reception
would take place in an elegantly dressed marquee.

There’s plenty of space for 120 seated guests, as well as a dance floor, and stage to have live entertainment or a DJ. Decorated with fairy lights, the marquee is a magical space for you and your guests to dance the night away.
