The Wedding Cake Studio has a new name and the same great bakes

Wake up and smell the (sugar) roses at The Wedding Cake Studio

What’s in a name? We hate to disappoint Juliet and her bae but it turns out actually quite a lot, at least as far as Bellshill-based Moira Chirara is concerned. The star baker knows that nothing gets the creative juices flowing better than a breath of fresh air and so she recently rebranded her business to The Wedding Cake Studio, and will now operate exclusively as a w-day cake designer.

“We wanted to provide our customers with a boutique shopping experience where they don’t have to sift through hoards of information and services,” she explained. “We take a limited number of bookings each week so we can dedicate our time to each bake.”

It’ll be all white on the night should you seek out Moira’s expert guidance

Moira’s passion for baking was evident from a young age, but she nevertheless embarked on a successful career in psychology. However, she couldn’t shake the baking bug , and when she saw the opportunity she took the plunge and went into cake-making full-time. Moira hasn’t looked back since.

Are you all about that taste? With flavours like lemon, chocolate orange, earl grey and lavender and pistachio and rose, the world looks set to be your oyster here. Plus, for a decorated three-tier cake catering for 120 guests you’ll be looking at a bill of around £480, a steal when you consider the time and dedication required for its creation.
