Throw a big bash at new Fife venue Pratis Barns

With 20 years’ experience in the hospitality and food industry and a successful catering company under his belt, chef Patrick Gilmour was ready for his next challenge.

That came in the form of the acquisition of Pratis Barns in Leven, Fife, a new exclusive-use venue equipped with barn event rooms, private-dining areas, a walled garden and 30 acres of grass and woodland. With such an impressive array of spaces available, we doubt it’ll struggle to attract couples looking to create a rustic-inspired big day.

And Patrick and his wife Nicola aren’t content to stop there: they’ve also developed a two-year plan to install a new kitchen, remodel the barns and transform a Grade-B listed house on the grounds into guest accommodation. Blimey.

“As a business, we used to offer outside catering exclusively, but now we can work from a fixed location while tapping into the DIY trend that continues to dominate the wedding industry,” Patrick shared. “This puts us in a perfect position to offer the whole package and simplify the process for couples. It’s a busy but exciting time!”

We’ll say. All the best guys!
