Owner Natasha Hutchison elaborates on what brides-to-be can expect when clicking onto the site: “Modiste is about the finishing touches, that extra bit of ‘grab you’ glamour. Shamelessly decorative and delicate – whether it’s in bridal lace and 
crystals or luxe mixes of upcycled heritage fabrics and statement feathers – we design and create accessories and millinery for every occasion, mixing both vintage and contemporary elements.” There are plenty of covetable ‘off the peg’ styles ready to buy at a click, such as the Lana headpiece pictured (£110), but if you’re looking for something truly stand-out, the company offers a made-to-measure service, as Natasha reveals, “The beauty of ordering a bespoke piece is that we have control over shaping your design within a budget using carefully selected fabrics and trims, without compromising quality, finish or design.” If the beautiful bridal shots online aren’t enough to tempt you, then Modiste will also be exhibiting at The Scottish Wedding Show at the SECC (22nd-23rd February) where you’ll be able to see pieces in the flesh.
