Truly unique, truly tartan

When bride Claire Kelly couldn’t find any wedding shoes she liked on the high street, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

After hunting for shops that let you design your own wedding footwear, she came across Upper Street, who specialise in made-to-order shoes.

To make her shoes truly unique, Claire opted to make them with her family’s tartan. The soles even feature personalised embroidery!

“I couldn’t wait to receive my shoes. I waited all day for the delivery man on the day they there to arrive and ran out to meet him when he did. When I received my shoes, I was floored… They were everything I hoped they would be,” recounts Claire.

““I wore them on my wedding day and everyone at the wedding LOVED them. I was constantly asked ‘Can I see your shoes?’ as word spread around among the wedding guests as to how great they were. These shoes are uniquely mine and will forever remind me of the greatest day of my life.”
