Fond of fifties’ styling, antique china or a short and sweet sixties gown? Make for the Vintage Wedding Show which brings together a unique batch of Scottish suppliers, including tailors Walker Slater, milliner Maggie Mowbray and jeweller Sarah Brown, to help piece together an imaginative, vintage-inspired wedding.
Now in its sixth year, the show’s autumn run starts this Sunday, in Glasgow’s Drygate, before setting up shop in Aberdeen’s Norwood Hall Hotel the following weekend and finishing off at the Waldorf Astoria The Caledonian in Edinburgh later in the month.
Brides and grooms-to-be can relax with a glass of bubbly, listen to live music and speak to suppliers and designers directly, as well as enter into a regional and national competition to win prizes from the exhibitors. Early bird? Drag your SO out of bed and be one of the first fifty visitors through the door to take home a goodie bag. Not convinced? Pour over the show’s latest atmospheric Fife shoot with photographer Duke Studios: all of the contributors are exhibiting in the show. What’s not to like?
