As part of a £2.4 million investment, Kelburn Castle and Country Estate, near Largs, which nestles in 3500 acres of spectacular west coast countryside, has just opened its Pavilion venue to host weddings, parties and events.
The opening of this unique indoor venue, which can host 250 guests, marks the major restoration of the 13th-century castle. The castle’s unique, historical rooms include a dining room with original Chippendale furniture and William Morris wallpaper, an elegant drawing room with sunset island views which dates back to 1700 and a number of period bedrooms.
