While it’s safe to say you’re looking forward to some pretty big anniversaries in the not-too-distant future, Edinburgh-based photographer Ditte Solgaard of First Light Photography is already gearing up for a double celebration of her own.
“Last month saw the 20th anniversary of getting my foot in the door of the photography world, working as a freelance picture editor at Scotland on Sunday,” she reveals.
“It’s also been ten years since I started my own company, First Light Photography. After having dabbled in picture editing, photography and filmmaking for a decade, I decided that photography was what I enjoyed the most and set up First Light. It’s my burning passion, and I still feel blessed as ever to be able to do it as my job.”
And what a job Ditte does: her breezy, relaxed style lends every wedding she shoots a fresh, romantic feel that we can’t get enough of.
