If you’d like an extra pair of hands to help with your big day, consider hiring the capable ones of Alison O’Neill, founder of wedding and events business Pebblefish.
“We offer flexible, innovative and bespoke planning to couples at every stage of their journey,” explains the Lanarkshire-based supplier. “All of our options are tailored to our clients’ requirements and timeframe and, as such, we will always build our services around them and their wedding.”
Though Pebblefish do not currently offer packages, it is able to provide three distinct kinds of help: Kick-Start, Final Weeks and Full Planning.
“Kick-Start works for couples who are either eager to do most of the organisation themselves but aren’t really sure how or where to get started, or for customers on a tight budget who would benefit from some initial assistance,” Alison says. This could include a standalone venue or supplier search, to zero in on what it is you really want, for example.
Final Weeks can incorporate on-the-day support, but can also be used to draw attention to any holes or gaps in planning that might not be immediately obvious to the couple. Perhaps this is finalising the table plan, or adding last-minute touches to your decor to bring it all together.
“However, our most popular arrangement is still Full Planning,” Alison confides. “In this case, we are with our clients from initial consultation right through to any post-event details to be taken care of.”
As if that wasn’t enough to tempt you, Alison is also currently offering Tie the Knot Scotland readers 15% off full-planning bookings until the end of the year. Just mention the magazine to get your discount.
