When Cameron House was affected by a tragic fire back in 2017, it was a devastating loss for not only the Scottish wedding industry, but the country: the five-star resort offered unparalleled luxury in the west, whether that be in the hotel, spa or on the golf course.
How exciting, then, that the venue has announced its imminent opening in late 2020, with function bookings being taken from January next year.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, future couples will also have an extension to look forward to from summer 2021. With 68 extra bedrooms, the majority of which will feature balconies with loch-facing views, you’ll have oodles of room to host your nearest and dearest in tandem with the existing 140 rooms.
The jewel in the crown, however, will be the brand-new ballroom, which will boast vistas across Loch Lomond. The expansive function space will be able to accommodate up to 400 people for the most extravagant of big days. We’re already contemplating our guest list – everybody gets a plus-one!
And if you’re planning on making a weekend of it, the news just gets even better, as the hotel will be able to facilitate exciting extras such as high-end speedboat trips, champagne cruises on the loch or even seaplane flights. Well, good things come to those who wait…
