There’s so much that goes into planning your wedding, from finding the perfect venue and dress to adding in personal touches throughout the day. While all the eating, drinking and dancing is a lot of fun, the wedding ceremony is arguably the most important part of the day!

As well as being the time when you officially become a married couple (it’s the reason you’re there after all!) the ceremony is a great opportunity to let you and your partner’s personalities, interests and story shine through.

Working with a celebrant in the lead up to your big day can put your mind at ease and ensure you get to say “I Do” in a way that’s right for you.

We spoke to Fuze Ceremonies about what goes into each and every single one of their humanist wedding ceremonies.

Fuze Ceremonies offer flexible and unique ceremonies performed by one of their fully trained, insured, disclosed, and authorised celebrants.

With a fantastic selection of celebrants all over Scotland to choose from, brides and grooms-to-be can find their perfect celebrant match and get to know them before the big day as they work together to create a truly personal humanist ceremony.

Who are Fuze Ceremonies?

Based in Scotland, Fuze Ceremonies are an award-winning not-for-profit Humanist organisation who conduct legal Humanist weddings, funerals and naming ceremonies.

Working to the motto ‘your day, your way’, they provide creative and energetic ceremonies that can be performed anywhere and anytime.

From secluded picturesque spots to medieval castles and everything in between, you can choose a ceremony location in Scotland that perfectly fits your day.

Giving back with The Fuze Foundation

As Fuze Ceremonies are not-for-profit, couples who choose a Fuze Humanist wedding ceremony will also be supporting The Fuze Foundation. With each legal wedding ceremony, Fuze donates a portion of their fee to support their chosen charities and good causes.

From March 2023 to February 2024, their chosen charities are Beatson Cancer Charity and Alzheimer Scotland.

Morag Webster, Trustee of The Fuze Foundation, said: “We are so excited and proud to be able to support these two amazing Scottish charities who do such vital work within the community and research fields.

Many households and families are affected by both Cancer and Dementia illnesses, so it means a lot to everyone at The Fuze Foundation to be able to give back while doing something they love.”

As well as raising thousands of pounds for Scottish charities since being established in 2012, Fuze Ceremonies also give back by providing ceremonies for those in need at no cost.

Choosing a wedding celebrant for your wedding day

Having been established for more than 10 years and with more than 50 friendly celebrants to choose from, Fuze Ceremonies’ team have a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from when creating the perfect humanist wedding ceremony for each couple.
