“We offer flexible planning options for all budgets, from a full planning service, to bespoke packages. We can take care of budget planning, venue sourcing, supplier sourcing, wedding website design, guest liaison and RSVP management. We also offer on-the-day management, one of our most popular options,” explains founder Alison O’Neill.

Couples can have Pebblefish kick off their wedding planning for them, and there are three different options for this. “Whether you’re concerned about time-lines, colour palettes, budgeting, invitations or pretty much everything, our Piecing It Together option (which starts from £195) is a great starting point for collecting your thoughts and preparing that all important event plan,” they said. The company also have a Venue Sourcing package (from £175) and Supplier Sourcing (from £75).

Their Health Check (from £180) goes over the final details to make sure everything will go smoothly, while the Ramp Up (from £300) reviews where couples are and takes over any last-minute tasks to let couples focus on the fun. It can also take care of everything with their On The Day option, priced from £700.

Pebblefish can also go full Jennifer Lopez in The Wedding Planner and handle all planning for your big day with their Full Planning option. Even though they are Glasgow- and Lanarkshire-based, they will travel across Scotland and the UK.

So is a wedding planner right for you? The company have heard couple’s reasons not to have one (everything from “my budget is too small” to “I know what I want, and a planner will take over” has been quoted to them), but they stress the reality is wildly different: there are various planning options available, so you can tailor it to suit you (and your spending), venues may have co-ordinators but planners are different, and good planners will never step on any toes so final decisions will be yours alone.

No matter the wedding challenges, Pebblefish will find the best way to help and make your life easier. Wouldn’t it be nice to work with an expert to create your perfected celebration?
