Darlings! Did you hear the news? The doors to Scotland’s first brand-new stand-alone Charlotte Tilbury Boutique in Glasgow opened this morning and we headed along to see the magical new offering…
Charlotte Tilbury has sort of become synonymous with bridal makeup these days, hasn’t she? Ask most beauty pros what (or who) they have in their kits, and we bet there’ll be at least one CT product lurking among their goodies.
So, you can imagine the excitement at TTKS Towers when we discovered that the beauty guru was bringing her first ever standalone store in Scotland to the streets of Glasgow, and when we were invited to pop along on opening morning for a first look around, we agreed more quickly than Ms. Tilbury could say ‘darling’.
Charlotte Tilbury’s Glasgow ‘Beauty Wonderland’ describes itself as an “easy-to-choose, easy-to-use, easy-to-gift beauty destination” where customers can shop Charlotte’s award-winning, best-selling skincare and makeup, explore all of her red-carpet secrets, and seek expert advice from her incredible team of retail artists.
Bursting at the beauty seams with everything from Tilbury staples such as the iconic Pillow Talk collection and *that* Magic Cream, upon entering the store, you are quickly transported from Buchanan Street to what feels like being backstage at a bougie Hollywood event.
The ultimate gifting destination for all beauty lovers, the new Glasgow store is stocked with Charlotte’s trinkets, treats and treasures to satisfy everyone’s wish lists: with everything from mini versions of products on offer, to fully bespoke skincare routines as advised by the in-store beauty experts.
Lead artist Gabrielle showed me around the new store which was buzzing with excitement as the doors were officially declared open at 9.30am.
On the first floor of the boutique, you will find all your heart could desire and spaces for the artists to show you top tricks and tips at perfectly lit vanity stations that even boast phone charging points (now that’s service!).
Gabrielle explained that there are also numerous services on offer, some of which are offered without any cost.
Indulge in the ‘Glow & Go’ (a miracle facial for glowing, hydrated skin), find your foundation match or learn contour, eye, brow or lip tricks in the freebie 15 minute slots.
Looking for something more? Other services, such as the ‘Quick and Easy Everyday Beauty Looks’ last 30 minutes and have a £35 price tag…but that is redeemable on products.
The same goes for the £110 ultimate makeup magic package, where you’ll learn red-carpet ready skills and tricks across the 90 minute session with a CT pro – that cost will go towards any goodies you wish to take home.
Also in store is the Magic Skin Clinic, the perfect place to try out products and find out more about what suits your skincare needs. Get glam on the lower floor boudoir – the iconic set-up is not only the perfect place to get your glow on, but also to capture those all-important mirror selfies!
Speaking of things that’d suit the ‘gram, you can’t miss the photo opportunity of the Pillow Talk corner, complete with a lip-shaped couch and telephone. CT approved.
If you’re looking for somewhere to host a bridal bash such as a bridesmaid proposal or hen party, this could be the place for you too. The never before seen ‘Beauty Wonderland’ boasts its own VIP Pillow Talk room, which Gabrielle explained can seat up to eight people. A private place to try products and learn from the team, you’ll also enjoy flowing prosecco (or soft drinks) and are guaranteed an amazingly luxurious experience.

Charlotte Tilbury Glasgow is based at 110-112 Buchanan Street. It is opened Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9.30am to 6pm, Thursday from 9.30am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
