Weddings are draining events: busting moves on the dancefloor, emotional reunions, doing rounds of tequila at the bar. It’s no wonder that couples are expected to provide not one, but two, helpings of food to keep guests’ energy levels up (and mop up those late-night shots, of course).
Give your party some grub they’ll remember by serving a selection of mean eats from food-truck favourite Stag Bites The Hog. Ronnie the orange Citroen H van can offer up a myriad of options, from venison and pork dishes, to veggie and vegan nibbles.
The Stag can provide its fare as canapés, a BBQ or even a full-on buffet if you so wish. Its signature street-food style of serving will especially suit relaxed celebrations, as it will lend a sense of freedom to proceedings.
“When it comes to food, we will work with our clients to come up with their own bespoke menu to suit the event if it is something more specific they require,” promises owner Liam Davies.
“We find that Ronnie brings a vintage touch to every event, and generates a lot of photo opportunities too – we enjoy kitting him out in lights, wooden serving boards and candelabras to bring more theatre to the occasion. He scrubs up well!”
For those who’d always go for sweet over savoury, you’ll be pleased to hear that the in-house pastry team specialise in creating quirky treats, and can lay on tailored afternoon tea menus, popular as an alternative to small bites for the drinks reception. Ronnie can cater for up to 180, so you’ve got no excuse: get on it.
