Bowfield Hotel and Spa in Howwood has just unveiled ten new lodges on the property, complete with private hot tubs overlooking idyllic countryside views, with one being designed specifically with newlywed couples in mind
The Manorview group of hotels excels at honeymoon suites – and the latest project is no different.
The Ben Lomond lodge (named after the view it looks out to) has been hailed as Bowfield’s new honeymoon suite. It has a larger living room space and bedroom, and comes complete with gorgeous touches such as a TV at the foot of the bed and a standalone bathtub in the bedroom so couples can hide away in newlywed bliss. A stay in the lodge will be included in wedding packages for those choosing the countryside venue for their nuptials.
The nine other lodges (also all named after Scottish munros) sleep between two and four guests, and come with a smart TV, outdoor decking area and either a twin or double room. Lodge breaks are available for a minimum of two nights so guests can soak up the atmosphere at Bowfield.
Logspan supplied and installed the new lodges, with Luddon Constructions being the grounds contractor and overseeing the full development. The interiors were designed by Space ID, with Sketch and Design providing bespoke finishes, and Keith Robertson Landscaping delivering all landscaping and planting throughout the site.

Not only will visitors enjoy a private lodge and hot tub, but they’ll have access to the venue’s many facilities too: every lodge break includes complimentary use of the hotel’s star-lit swimming pool, sauna, steam room and outdoor spa pool. Nice!
