Delightful dozen: our highlights from The Scottish Wedding Show

The TTKS team hit The Scottish Wedding Show last weekend and we were spoiled for choice when it came to picking twelve divine wedding details. From the chic dresses hitting the catwalk, the gleaming wedding cars lining the hall and scores of the country’s top suppliers showcasing their wares, you could have planned your entire wedding with just one lap of the room. We spoke to couples at every stage of their planning – even one bride-to-be who was getting cracking with planning her 2020 wedding (!) – and all were bursting with inspiration from chatting to exhibitors and browsing the stands. If you couldn’t make it along to the show this time, it’ll be back 17th-18th October – but check out our highlights in the meantime.

1. Cakes by Marie-Claire
The cherry on top of Marie-Clare Cake Design’s stand was this stunning ombré gravity defying creation.
2. Arty Sparkly2
The custom dress illustrations by Arty Sparkly immortalise your dress in a beautiful framed sketch.
3. Oysterman
We sampled a delicious oyster doused with raspberry gin, courtesy of The Oysterman Events, who can roam your reception shucking away!
4. Ginger and Lime
Ginger & Lime Events‘ stand was a vision in monochrome and metallics and the bouquet bar was a big hit!
5. Rockin' Vans

Slanj Kilts showed off an abundance of muted tweeds, but this colourful ensemble attracted grooms looking to make a statement.
12. Supernova stand
The delicate tones used by Supernova Wedding Design & Flowers looked sumptuous and luxe, but we’re most excited about a Kim and Kanye-inspired floral wall hitting our shores!
