At the Edinburgh branch of Kudos Bridal Boutiques, it’s out with the old and in with the…well, you get the picture. How lucky are we that the ‘old’ in this case is Essense of Australia’s glorious gowns?
“On 1st and 2nd June, we are going to put every discontinued Essense of Australia shop sample [such as the above] that we have, and some current season items too, on sale, with some styles as low as £150,” Millie Polson reveals. “It’ll be appointment only and, we imagine, extremely busy!”
They’re certainly going to need to make room: a new wave of incredible Wendy Makin couture is due, such as the romantic Flora gown (above), £3,100.
“We are most excited about the new range that has landed in store from Wendy,” reports Millie. “So far, we have Flora, Willow and Lexi. The gowns are handmade, hand-dyed and feature amazing 3D laces.
“Wendy’s couture range is something entirely new and fashion forward. It gives brides a sense of what couture really is, the fabric quality is noticeably more indulgent and the delicate laces are clear to see and feel.
The exclusivity, alongside the lace and sparkling hand-crafted details, is reflected in the price, but this is, nonetheless, very reasonable considering the quality. We are so thrilled to have the full collection in store soon. We are just awaiting the arrival of Amber and we will have our four couture styles!”
And there’s more: “We have just had our delivery of Catriona Garforth Bridal‘s CG& wedding toppers [Daria topper above], a mix ‘n’ match collection whereby the bride can choose her own lace and bodice design. These toppers start at £400 and are incredibly unique.”
