Brides-to-be who love a bargain will be delighted to hear that Scotland’s first dedicated wedding discount website has launched today. My Wedding Pennies is a new online initiative that has been created to help ease the mounting costs of a wedding in Scotland.
Set up by Sarah Leigh after planning her own wedding, the website aims to bring engaged couples a little relief from the escalating costs of a wedding by sourcing exclusive discounts from some of Scotland’s finest wedding suppliers. You’ll find discounts across all the planning essentials, including venues, bridalwear, photography, cakes, stationery, flowers and much much more.
Sarah explains: “I realised the potential for a wedding voucher website whilst planning my own wedding in 2010. Having to save for almost three years to afford the perfect day, I could see that such a service would be a huge help for couples planning their wedding. Even with the current economic climate, the cost of a wedding is continuously on the increase and so it is our mission to alleviate this in any way we can.”
