We do love an exclusive here at TTKS Towers. Melrose newcomer Whimsical Bride is introducing a handful of names we’ve been longing to see north of the border and, for the majority of the collections, the boutique is the only stockist in Scotland.
“We’re showcasing exquisite gowns by Anny Lin, Savannah Miller, Cherry Williams London, Ti Adora and Gemy Maalouf,” explains owner Ali Allan. “The shop will also stock bridesmaid dresses by Hayley Paige Occasions, which display soft tulle, unique lace and delicate tones.”
Of all the names now on offer, the other-worldly Anny Lin is one of the most extraordinary. The label’s Katya gown (£POA), taken from the über feminine Infatuation collection, sports a spectacular Sharmain add-on iris-print train we’re in awe of.
“We’ll also be carrying hair accessories by Victoria Millesime and shoes and bags by Rachel Simpson Shoes,” Ali says. “They perfectly complement the gowns, creating an overall modern look with a nod to vintage-inspired style.”
