It’s here at last – Joyce Young Design Studios’ 2019 couture collection in its full, immaculately tailored glory. And you’ll need to steady yourself before you lay eyes on these dresses because they are knockout.
“Our couture gowns are crafted from the finest silks and European laces, with complex beadwork and the utmost attention to detail,” explains Joyce. “The pieces are all made in the UK by our dedicated staff in our own purpose built design studios. You can choose an existing design or make changes to customise your dress.”
We can’t imagine any tweaks needed to improve on the precision-cut gowns Joyce’s team has produced, particularly where Antonia is concerned (£POA). That oversized bow? Just jaw-dropping. And we’re feeling Joyce’s sleek approach to her silhouettes this season, with modest, Meghan Markle-approved numbers such as Valentina (above), Veronika and Dina (all £POA) nailing the minimalist vibe we’ve been craving ever since the royal wedding.
In the unlikely event that none of these showstoppers grab you, Joyce has another trick up her expertly designed sleeves. “Alternatively, we can design a dress individually for you, where you and I will have a personal consultation,” she says. “We can show you shapes to try on and exquisite fabrics to choose from. Sketches will be made from your ideas and a final design will be drawn up and priced uniquely for you.”
