On a bustling street in Hamilton lies a prominent new name in bridalwear – Glasgow Gowns. Its flagship store already boasts prestigious designers, including Maggie Sottero, with more names continually being announced.

Created by bridalwear devotee Hayley, the brand and ethos of Glasgow Gowns are centred around delivering style and elegance to suit all budgets. The team at Glasgow Gowns strives to make the entire bridal shopping experience luxurious and inviting for all.

The vision for Glasgow Gowns was born from Hayley’s own wedding dress shopping experiences. Believe it when she says she understands every emotion her brides feel when they walk through the door. It’s this experience that allows for the compassionate, patient, and above-and-beyond approach the team at Glasgow Gowns provides.

Glasgow Gowns really does cater for brides from all walks of life. With a collection of the hottest on-trend gowns inspired by the runways, to a variety of vintage-inspired and timeless classics, there truly is something for everyone at this stylish and modern boutique.

Hayley shares her top tips for your bridal appointments

  1. Bring your biggest supporters

We often hear the words, ‘’I’ve brought my biggest critic’’. Well, simply don’t. Our stylists are HUGE advocates of building other women up. Surround yourself with people who bring out the sassy, confident bride in you who knows her own style.

  1. Dare to bare

We’re often asked what underwear to wear. If you’re comfortable to do so, bin the bra! Straps often overshadow the intricate detailing of the shoulder and neckline of gowns, whether they’re nude or not.

  1. Bring an open mind

Brides often fall in love with the gown they least expect! Come with an open mind, and your stylist will help do the rest.
