Can you guess the biggest trend from New York Bridal Fashion Week?

We’re spotting new, exciting variations of sleeved gowns – and a throwback we never thought we’d see again!

2019’s collections unveiled at New York Bridal Fashion Week were a mixed bag. There were lots of continuing shapes and textures – plunge necklines, capes, illusion applique and sparkle aren’t going anywhere – and there was also a few surprises. The biggest? Puffed sleeves are back! Along with frilly peach bridesmaids dresses, it’s always been one of our go-to references for dated fashion that should stay in Bridal Room 101. Not anymore though! And the seventies are chucking in a trend sleeve of their own: the bell sleeve. We’ve also been eyeballing lots of off-shoulder sleeves with Bardot necklines, and now that Princess Eugenie has glided down the aisle in her own demure dress by Peter Pilotto, we reckon this trend is about to blow up. What’s your fave?
