It’s been busy behind the scenes at fairytale Aberdeenshire venue, Drumtochty Castle. As stunning as it already was, a team of creatives has been working hard to spruce up wedding spaces in and around the building.
First up, a luxurious spot to rest your head. “We have redecorated our bridal suite, giving it a completely new look,” reports the castle’s Julia Catto. “It’s ultra-romantic, with a hint of French chic.” Next on the list for a primp was an after-ceremony hideout that’ll bring a regal touch to your celebration. “We’ve also refurbished the Gold Room,” adds Julia. Decorated in soft gilded and ivory tones and equipped with antique furniture, the area even has its own white baby-grand piano.
The reception room has also had a facelift making it even more of a picturesque setting. “We’ve also added another apartment to our portfolio on the estate, thus increasing our on-site accommodation,” says Julia. Coupled with the fact Drumtochty is just 30 minutes away from Aberdeen and about an hour away from its international airport, this is a big thumb’s up for all you lot with gargantuan guest lists. Hooray!
