Bentleys has updated its boutique so there’s more room for mamas to hunt for their perfect frock

The new year brought about big changes for the store in Banchory, which has expanded to include additional changing rooms in both the occasion and casual departments

Bentleys has upgraded its Aberdeenshire store to make it extra spacious for mothers of the bride and groom hunting for their big day get up.

“The new property is almost twice the size of our original shop, giving the special-occasion outfits a department all of their own. This means more privacy, and lots of additional room to display the fantastic new seasons fashions,” owner Irene Mackie tells us. She has run the boutique for 33 years – in other words, you couldn’t be in safer hands when shopping for your wedding day get-up.

The store stocks several occasionwear big-hitters including Condici, Ispirato, John Charles and Veni Infantino and it has recently welcomed the latest line from Rosa Clará’s Couture Club collection.

The Barcelona-based label’s pastel-hued frocks will dazzle mamas looking for feminine and elegant silhouettes, while quirkier details, like ‘reverse’ jackets with back fastening and an open front split, can be paired with more fitted gowns for something a little unexpected.

“We believe style will be with us forever, and this is what we aim to achieve in Bentleys,” Irene tells us, “We offer stylish outfits to suit all women and stock most of the big designers – however, we’re always on the look out for some hidden gems.”
