It’s a case of new year, new start at Kudos Bridal Boutiques. “In January, I will be moving into the manager role, while owner Michelle Scott will be stepping down in March following her big birthday celebrations!” reveals Millie Polson at the Edinburgh boutique.

“We’re always coming up with ideas to make the store more magical and are in the process of clearing our mother-of-the-bride collections to focus on dedicated bridesmaids and flower girl sections – we have a full collection of Richard Designs dresses (below), ranging from £150-£300, which are so cute and work flawlessly with our Motee Maids floral sashes.

“Our new Rosa Clará range (we love Doe, above, £1,850), is also now on the rails and ready to be tried on, as are our latest arrivals from Wendy Makin‘s ready-to-wear (Kiara, below, £1,550 and Calina, £1,650, landed last month) and couture lines. We are very excited about Wendy’s gowns.”

And if you’ve already spotted a gown you love? Kudos can help with the finishing touches too. “On 7th February, we’re hosting an accessory night from 6pm-8pm, with 10% off orders over £100,” notes Millie.

“For one night only, we’ll have heaps of tiaras, veils and hair accessories from Richard Designs, Rainbow Club shoes and, of course, faux fur stoles and toppers, all laid out for you to try. It’s essential to book an appointment as we only have 40 spaces available.”
