Ceremony and reception spaces at Norton House

Couples have a choice of wedding spaces at Norton House, depending on the size and style of their celebration.

Everything you need to know to plan your wedding ceremony in Scotland

For couples who prefer a brighter, more contemporary setting, the Garden Suite is a standalone wedding space with floor-to-ceiling windows and views over the walled garden. It can host up to 130 guests and offers a light, airy backdrop for ceremonies and receptions.

Smaller weddings are well catered for too, with rooms such as the Drawing Room, Redwood Room, Linden Room and Veranda Suite offering more intimate options with views over the grounds.

Outdoor wedding ceremonies in the grounds

Ceremonies can also take place beside the main house or at Redwood Grove, an enclosed woodland area with a rustic tree swing. The lawns are mostly flat and accessible, making them easy for guests to move around during drinks receptions, photographs or outdoor ceremonies.

There is flexibility around weather too. While ceremony spaces need to be pre-booked, couples can make a final decision on the morning of the wedding about whether to go ahead indoors or outdoors, depending on conditions.
